Measurement systems in conventional and regenerative power and heat generating plants are an essential part of instrumentation and control systems. They provide the information needed to operate the generating plant and, with the exception of local measuring devices, are connected with the automation systems without interposition of the operating personnel. This lends special importance to the measurement systems.
